As an acupuncturist with over 9 years of experience in fertility and women’s health—and a mom of three myself—I know firsthand what it feels like to walk the path of both natural conception and assisted reproductive technology. My own journey through both routes gives me unique insight and deep compassion for the women I now guide.
What I see most often is the struggle to trust that you’re doing enough. Sorting through endless advice, supplements, and modalities can feel daunting and time-consuming. You’re left feeling like you are second-guessing yourself instead of feeling grounded.
I’m here to change that. My mission is to help you understand your body, reconnect with your intuition, and feel confident in advocating for the right support when things aren’t flowing. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’ll guide you with clarity, compassion, and proven tools so you can move forward with confidence.
About Maire
Hi, I’m Maire (pronounced my-ray, with a rolled r). I’m a fertility coach and licensed acupuncturist whose work is deeply rooted in both personal experience and professional expertise. As a mom of three who has conceived naturally and through fertility treatments, I understand firsthand the emotional and physical challenges of this journey.
I currently serve as the on-site acupuncturist at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, where I work alongside leading reproductive specialists to support patients through every stage of their fertility journey.
My mission is simple: to empower women to trust their bodies, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and take confident steps toward building the family they dream of.
I blend Eastern and Western medicine, offering a truly integrative approach. That means personalized tools and strategies—from Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic wellness to evidence-based reproductive science—that meet you where you are. Every woman’s path is unique, and I tailor my guidance to honor your individual needs and values.
At the heart of my practice is creating a safe, judgment-free space where you feel supported, understood, and equipped with both knowledge and actionable tools. I simplify complex medical concepts, so you walk away with clarity, confidence, and the ability to advocate for yourself.

More about Maire
My name comes from Tahiti. It’s also the name of a fragrant fern.
Before fertility work, I was a marine biologist, studying the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal and publishing peer-reviewed research.
During my M.S. in Animal Sciences at UH Mānoa, I took classes in La‘au Lapa‘au, the ancient Hawaiian art of herbal medicine—which sparked my calling to serve people through natural healing.
I once co-owned a soap and body products business.

Initial Visit — 75 min — $350
Your first session is where we get to know each other and lay the foundation for your fertility journey. We’ll dive into your full health history, where you are right now, and your goals for the path ahead. I’ll look at your case through both a Western and Eastern lens, giving me the clarity to create a personalized, actionable treatment plan.

By the end of our first visit, you’ll walk away with a clear roadmap to support your fertility and overall wellbeing.
Follow-Up Visits — 45 min — $150
Follow-ups are designed to keep you moving forward with confidence. We’ll check in on your progress, address any concerns, and adjust your plan as needed. I’ll also ensure you’re getting the best support from your care team, whether that’s your PCP, OB/GYN, or reproductive endocrinologist.
